Geneva Airport is connected to 140 destinations all over the world. It is one of EasyJet’s main hubs with more than 70 destinations to/from Geneva. Thanks to the highly efficient road network through Switzerland and Europe, Geneva is easily accessible by car. Note that a motorway “vignette” is compulsory to drive motorways in Switzerland. Valid for 1 year, the vignette costs CHF 40.00 and is on sale at post offices, petrol stations and custom offices.
Visitors in Geneva hotels receive a free Geneva Transport Card for unlimited access to public transportation throughout their stay. Flying passengers staying in Geneva hotels also receive a complimentary 80-minute public transport ticket. Tickets should be purchased before boarding, and a valid ticket must be carried during the journey. The fare for one hour of public transport in Geneva is CHF 3.50.

Entry into Switzerland
Switzerland has been a member of the Schengen Area since 12 December 2008. Applicable to all Schengen member states, the Schengen Association Agreement stipulates that short stays may not exceed 90 days in any 180-day period.
